New Age Community Churchreceives national award |
|
November 30, New Age Community Church was
selected for the 2011 Phoenix Award in the Various Denomination Churches
category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local organizations throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies organizations that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and category. Various sources of information were gathered and analyzed to choose the winners in each category. The 2011 USCA Award Program focuses on quality, not quantity. Winners are determined based on the information gathered both internally by the USCA and data provided by third parties. "We are not certain of exactly why we received this award, " said Rev. Dr. John Rodgers, who received the award for the church. "It certainly isn't because of our size. More likely, it is based on the service we have performed for the New Age spiritual community of Arizona over the years." This is the first award the church has ever received, though its bookstore, Alpha Book Center, has received several awards over the years. |
